How much does Senduspacking cost?
SendUsPacking will cost you £39.99 plus a 5% service fee on every contribution.
If you buy your holiday through one of our partners then it is likely that they will set up a Senduspacking list for you for free - be sure to ask them.
We can add the service fee to each item automatically or you can choose to have the fee deducted from your total amount when you make a withdrawal - it's your choice!

What’s a service fee?
Whenever someone makes a contribution to your list a fee is charged by the banks to cover credit card processing and cheque handling etc. To help keep things simple we take a service fee from your fund to cover this cost. The same happens in most retails shops but the fee is built into the purchase cost. We just want to make it more transparent to our customers.

What is Senduspacking?
Senduspacking allows friends and family to contribute financially to your big holiday events through our website, by post or by telephone. What we do is help get everyone together and make it as easy as possible to design your holiday and then receive contributions towards it.

How does Senduspacking work?
Using Senduspacking is very straightforward:

Step 1 – choose a list type
You can build your own holiday itinerary using various internet sites and then inputting the basic details into your list such as “Flight to New York with Virgin".

Step 2 – tell your friends
Senduspacking has a powerful email system built in to it which allows you to contact all of your friends and tell them how to contribute to your holiday. For those people that are not on the web, you can print out details which can then be posted to them. For example if you are using Senduspacking to design your honeymoon then you can insert the details into your wedding invitation cards.

Step 3 – receive the money
Once your friends have been told about your holiday on Senduspacking they can then start contributing to it via our secure website, by telephone or by cheque. You can see all of the contributions made and any messages left for you. We’ll even email you when a contribution has been made so you can say thank you that little bit quicker!

How do I get my money?
At any time you can request a withdrawal from Senduspacking using our secure website. Most users tend to withdraw a little to cover the cost of the deposit and then the remainder when the holiday is due to be paid for in full.

How do I know my money is safe?
Senduspacking subscribe to the guidelines set out by the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) regarding Prepayment business models. Senduspacking hold all client monies in a separate account that is not used for any purpose other than to hold contributions. In lay-man’s terms this means that Senduspacking cannot use the money contributed to a list for anything other than paying out to the list owner (you).

How will people know that I’ve setup my holiday?
Senduspacking has a powerful email system built in to it which allows you to contact all of your friends and tell them how to contribute to your holiday. Can people without a PC use it?
Absolutely, people can receive your holiday details by post and then call Senduspacking or send a cheque to make contributions

Is Senduspacking a holiday agent/tour operator?
No, we don’t sell holidays. What we do is help get everyone together and make it as easy as possible to design your holiday and then receive contributions towards it. Although you can build your own holiday, why not try one of our travel partners first who specialise in offering special event holidays. Then sit back and watch those contributions mount up from your friends and family.

Is Senduspacking bonded (i.e. Atol member)?
As Senduspacking don’t sell holidays, we do not require to be bonded. However all of our partners through which you can buy holidays are bonded and hold a high reputation within the travel industry (that’s why we partner with them)

What happens if our holiday is postponed or cancelled?
If your holiday is postponed then you can Pause your list on Senduspacking and resume it later. If your holiday is cancelled then let us know and contributions will be refunded (however our charges are not refundable)
